Gillian and Joe,Castle Dargan 17/03/16

Gillian and Joe celebrated their wedding on St. Patrick’s day and they were blessed with a lovely Sunny day in Spring. I joined the Bridal party at Gillian’s house in Mayo where excited preparations were underway and I captured the atmosphere.

I met up with Joe, his groomsmen (and Gillian and Joe’s son Ethan) outside the Church in Kilmovee for a few informal shots as we were waiting for the bride’s arrival. After some photos of special moments at the wedding ceremony, we headed for the reception at ‘Castle Dargan Hotel’ There we made use of the spectacular grounds at the venue and stopped at one of the imposing trees for some pictures. We also captured some images at one of the bridges on the grounds.

The happy couple enjoyed their wedding reception and partied with their guests to the early hours. Thank you so much Gillian and Joe for choosing me to capture your special day and may the happy memories last forever.

Mags and David,Castle Dargan

‘Mags and David’s’ big day kicked off in in the bride’s house in Mayo. Once again I was joined by Videographer ‘NEIL DUFFY’,The bridal party were busy with preparations, getting ready,‘ANN Young’ did the honours with the girls make up and ‘Regina Henry’ perfected their hair,The brides dress was from ‘Lusan Mandongus’ and ‘Candleknight Events supplied the flowers.
I met up with David and his groomsmen outside the Church in Rooskey for a few informal shots as we were waiting for the bride’s arrival. The wedding ceremony was followed with a visit to the Bride’s local pub, ‘Bensons, where a celebratory toast was enjoyed by all.
Afterwards, we stopped off at the lovely Dooney Rock on the shores of Lough Gill, Sligo, and took advantage of the lakeside setting. The wooded area of Dooney Rock provided the perfect backdrop for some shots.
The wedding continued at ‘Castle Dargan Hotel’ for the reception and photos on the stunning grounds of the hotel. After the meal the happy couple enjoyed their first dance and joined their guests in partying the night away to ‘The Funky Buskers Band’

Mags & David (Pre Wedding shoot)

In May I met up with Mags and David for their pre wedding shoot. We started off at their wedding venue,‘CASTLE DARGAN’,
where we took some shots on the Avenue to take advantage of the cherry blossom in full bloom. We then headed to the lovely ‘PARKES CASTLE ‘ which holds happy memories for the couple, as this was the place that David Popped the question! I’m Looking forward to their big day in June.
